Who shapes my career?

Career is one word that is probably the most misunderstood word by people. Some important aspects to reflect while discussing one’s career.

Each one of us is unique and has a different career, even if the names and words attached look similar.

Career is intrinsic and is determined by the individual’s status in terms of his knowledge and skills. Promotions are contextual. If we look around our own professional life, we will notice several examples of promotions that have ended in disaster and probably end of the career for the individual.

How one expands the ecosystem by continuous learning and making bets use of the opportunity

The situation and events can change careers and can have a significant impact on one’s life. A few examples of a great career and career changes

Valmiki’s career had a turning point from a robber to a sage who went on to create the world’s richest and oldest epic Ramayana

Dhirubhai Ambani is known to have started his career as a worker in a gas station. He went on to build his career as an entrepreneur, and today his legacy is one of the largest enterprises in the world
